Labor rooms that are combination labor/delivery/recovery suites; no shuttling of OB patients. 24-hour labor anesthesia, including epidurals. Computerized fetal monitoring. State-of-the-art surgical suites with laparoscopic and high-tech laser surgery as well as ultrasonic scalpels.
