Kathleen Heffron
MD, FACOG

From age 12, Dr. Heffron knew that she wanted
to be a doctor. She was interested in Pediatrics
initially, but later switched to Obstetrics and
Gynecology. She was attracted to the
opportunity of helping women with their
unique healthcare needs, as well as using her
surgical skills. Today, she most appreciates
helping her patients, whether that is by
delivering a baby or by performing a surgery.
The idea that The Women’s Health Group
(TWHG) can genuinely make a difference in
a patient’s life is ultimately why Dr. Heffron
and Dr. Deaton formed the practice in
January of 1991.

Dr. Heffron graduated from Putnam City
High School in Oklahoma City. She
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Biology from Centenary College in
Shreveport, Louisiana. From there, she
continued on to earn a medical degree
from the University of Oklahoma College
of Medicine and completed her residency
through Louisiana State University
Medical Center.

Currently, Dr. Heffron serves on the
Advisory Board of Trustees at Hillcrest
Medical Center.
