About

Mary Kirk
MD, FACOG

Dr. Mary Kirk has been a practicing OB/GYN since
1991. She initially trained as a registered nurse.
She so enjoyed helping patients that she decided
to pursue a medical degree. Dr. Kirk was motivated
by the opportunity, as a female, to be an advocate
for women’s health care needs and to improve
their overall quality of life. To her, Obstetrics and
Gynecology is a perfect blend of office practice,
primary care and surgery.

Dr. Kirk is a graduate of John Marshall High
School in Oklahoma City. She earned bachelors
degrees in Nursing and Microbiology from the
University of Oklahoma, and a Doctor of
Medicine from the University of Oklahoma.
She completed her residency at Mount Sinai
Medical Center in New York City, NY, where
she attained the honor of Chief Resident in
1990-1991. While a resident, Dr. Kirk had
the experience of working alongside
Dr. Charles Lockwood, a well-known
physician who developed a cutting
edge process called Fetal Fibronectin.
This is now used routinely to accurately
diagnosis patients at risk for preterm
labor and delivery.

Dr. Kirk is a member of the Tulsa County
Medical Society, the Oklahoma State
