Darla Lofgren
MD, FACOG
Dr. Lofgren has spent over 25 years in
women's health care. She began her career
in the mid-eighties as a labor and delivery
nurse. She feels that her nursing experience,
being a patient who experienced pre-term
labor and raising two daughters are some
of the reasons she is able to relate so
well to her patients.
Dr. Lofgren continued her education in
medicine receiving her MD in 1997 from
The University of Oklahoma, College of
Medicine where she won the James A.
Merrill award which is the highest
honor for academic achievement
and clinical excellence. She
completed her residency in
Obstetrics and Gynecology at
OU-Tulsa. After completing
her residency, Dr. Lofgren
became a faculty member
in the OB-Gyn Department
at OU-Tulsa. While in
this position, Dr. Lofgren
was awarded Outstanding
Faculty Awards in 2005,
2006 and 2007 and
