Frequently Asked Questions:
  1. Who will perform my ultrasound? Only registered personnel
highly skilled in ultrasound technology are employed.

  2. Will insurance pay for my 4-D Ultrasound? No. 4-D Ultrasound
viewing sessions are not medically necessary and are non-diagnostic.

  3. Is there any preparation necessary? No. You do not need a full
bladder. It is also not helpful to drink caffeine or have other stimulants. An overly active baby is very difficult to photograph.

  4. What should I expect to see? Some babies will image better than
others. Ultrasound is dependent on maternal thickness, fetal position,
and fluid surrounding baby. With a cooperative baby you may see baby play with fingers and toes or open and close mouth.

  5. What if my baby doesn’t cooperate? You may be asked to return
on a different day. Only one additional attempt will be made and this will be decided at the discretion of the sonographer.

  6. How many 4-D sessions can I have? Only one viewing session should be scheduled.

  7. Do I need an appointment? It is necessary to schedule an appointment. The recommended gestation age is 26 to 28 weeks. Please arrive on time to ensure adequate viewing time.
